Meet  our  keynote  speaker

Dr. C. N. "Nick" Willborn is a Teaching Elder (TE) who is an adjunct professor of Church History at GPTS (Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary).
  • Professional and Ministry Roles
  • Academic Role: Adjunct professor of Church History at GPTS.
  • Church Ministry: He is known for his significant study on the diaconate in American and Scottish Presbyterianism. His diaconate at Covenant PCA (Presbyterian Church in America) in Oak Ridge, TN, has been noted as one of the "best trained and effective in the denomination".
  • Speaker: He has spoken at the Georgia Foothills Presbytery Diaconal Conference.
Writings on the Diaconate
He has written extensively on the office of the Deacon, including the following works:
  • The Diaconate: God's Office of Temporal Affairs (1995)
  • The Deacon: A Divine Right Office with Divine Uses (2009)
  • Gospel Work of the Diaconate (2014)
  • He also authored a section in a conference booklet titled Christ the Good Shepherd: Elders and Deacons Together.

  • Marital Status and Family: He is married to Carol, and they have three children.
  • Pastorate: He is an ordained minister and currently serves as the Senior Pastor-teacher of Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He was installed as Senior Pastor on August 2, 2009, after serving as Stated Supply
Pastor since June 2008. He has also held previous pastorates in Tennessee and Alabama.
